Micromaster is can alter lighting circuits and levels in a number of ways.
When the proximity sensor in the entry controller outside the guest’s room detects the smartcard, the door is unlocked and the courtesy light is switched on to provide initial room illumination. When the guest inserts the smartcard into the energy switch, default room lighting levels are automatically switched on. When the guest removes the card the room lights are extinguished though the courtesy light remains on for three minutes after the guest has left the room.
- Individual lighting control
Where connected, Micromaster can also control individual light sources. Simple on/off requirements use digital outputs with relays. Dimmable lights can also be accommodated. Micromaster controllers come in a wide variety of styles to suit the environment aesthetics. The VITRUM glass range is the latest in the product range. |

The individual control of many single light sources could create unnecessary complication for the guest. A more effective approach is to group combinations of lighting systems to create a number of lighting scenes. These lighting scenes can then be controlled by a special scene control panel. The control panel can switch scenes on and off, can dim them or alter them according to a pre–programmed setting. |
